*cue fangirling*

So basicaaalllyyy, me and my friends went to see The Vamps in Birmingham and it's safe to say they were amazing!

They were supported by Luke Friend, Nina Nesbett and EofE which really set the tone for the night. Then there was a short interval where we discovered we were sat only 5 rows behind Brad and Connor's family, that was a good time, I walked past Brad's day and say hey, he was really nice talking to all of the fans and taking pictures. There was the usual count-down to build up the atmosphere and then they appeared!!

I guess you could say I took a fair few photo's that night and used up a solid amount of battery life, but it was definitely worth it! They sang loads of their album tracks and also did some covers, which I for one loved. What made the experience even better was knowing that they were filming for their concert DVD which comes out Dec 1st which I can't wait for!!

I had such a good time that I even brought tickets to their arena tour where Union J are the support acts, this is like my dream concert!! I'm intrigued to see how they're going to improve for the next tour though, but i'll be sure to let you know.

For the mean time enjoy some of my photo's and videos, don't steal please :)

Dear Maria Count Me In/Sugar We're Going Down - The Vamps Live in Birmingham

Tristan's Drum Solo - The Vamps Live in Birmingham

Day One;

After much persuasion, I finally convinced my mum to drive me and my best friends up to Bristol for the weekend, to do some shopping.

A stressful car journey later, we arrived and attempted to head straight for a Wetherspoon's. Admittedly, after a few wrong turns and asking for directions, we reached our destination and demolished our meals (mine was the baguette).

Then after the somewhat easier task of finding the hotel, we checked in and chilled in our rooms until we were ready for more food. I couldn't resist photographing this dessert!

We later discovered that there was a Ben & Jerry's ice cream machine, it was time for round two of desserts.
Day Two;

It was finally time to hit the shops, but not until I had taken some photos for my college project.

Cribbs Causeway Mall had a range of stores, but we spent most of our time in HMV, which in hindsight probably could've been predicted. After all that 'shopping' we then had the difficult task of deciding where to eat lunch, we chose Caffe Gusto which proved to be a good choice.

While we were eating I spotted a 'Boost Juice Bar' which I then couldn't wait to visit as I had never tried one before. To be honest I thought they were only in London. After much deliberation, I chose the 'Banana Buzz' which was recommended by George Shelley.

Once we had decided we had done enough shopping we headed back, only to notice a problem with the car, typical. To cut a long story short we ended up waiting 2 hours for the AA man to then tell us we needed to be towed all the way home. Fun.

At least there was some productive 'wreck this journal' doodles produced while we were waiting.

Our poor car :(
